Zach Johnson

Writing lyrically-driven indie folk tunes featuring his intricate guitar playing, stomp box and powerful vocals, Zach has been touring extensively for the last three years to great response.

Voted the best newcomer at the ‘Graham Steel Music Awards 2017’, Zach has supported artists such as Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar (BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award winners), Luke Jackson (BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee) and The Black Feathers at sold out shows. He has performed at a number of festivals, including Trinity Folk Festival, The Big Feastival and Walton Folk Festival, after which he was featured in a Folk Radio article.

Zach released his debut EP, The Last Days of June, in October 2016 and two singles, ‘Small Town’ and ‘Heartstring’ in 2018 to excellent response. His latest EP, New Blockbuster, hit the playlists in March this year.
